Neil Barrett is a British cinematographer who has worked on over 100 documentary films in 60 countries for Netflix, HBO, National Geographic, BBC, PBS, Discovery, Hulu, The History Channel, NBC, ABC and CNN.
Neil’s work has been nominated for an Oscar and has won an Emmy, a Columbia Dupont, Edward R.Murrow and a Peabody award. His feature documentaries have been shown at the Sundance, Tribeca, Toronto, and Telluride films festrivals
Neil has an MA in Classics from St Andrew’s University, an MA in Visual Anthropology from USC, and a graduate certificate in AI Design from MIT.
Neil lives in Washington, DC and is now designing software and strategies to help the documentary industry thrive in the emerging age of AI.
